At present we have a choice of sessions per week including road running, hill reps, track & circuit training. The Sunday morning sessions are regularly depleted by official races and tend to be organised either by word-of-mouth or our Facebook page

Mondays @ 6:30pm
Heath Rugby Club, West Vale, HX4 8LS
Usually two groups, a steady group doing 5 - 6 miles and Intermediate group 1 doing around 6 miles - click here for map.
Hill training - Hills are a great way to build up your speed endurance. Two groups, long and short hills led by our coaches.
Tuesdays, Option 1 @ 6pm
1885 Pub/Restaurant car park, Stainland, HX4 9HF
Early bird group, around 7 miles at around 9 min/miles pace on a mixture of road and trails.
Tuesdays, Option 2 @ 6.30pm

Later group, around 5-6 miles at 12 min/miles pace.
Tuesdays Option 3 @ 6.30pm
Savile Park, Halifax, meeting opposite the Lodge fish and chip shop HX3 0EG
6 to 7 miles at around 10 min/miles pace.
Wednesdays @ 6:30pm
Track sessions at Springhall Track, Huddersfield Rd, Halifax with our qualified coaches.
These are structured sessions but can be joined at any time.
Spring Hall is a modern, floodlit facility paid for by tax payers and Stainland Lions members - who contributed initially towards the facility.
Free parking & toilets.
Usually takes 90 minutes.
There is a charge of £2.50 as we have to pay the council to use the track.
Thursdays @ 6:30pm
Main club night from Heath Rugby Club, West Vale.
Usually four groups from 7.5 miles at 9 min/mile to 5.5 miles at 12 min/mile.
f you fancy something different to tarmac then some lovely, scenic off road trail runs are available too so please bring appropriate footwear, and maybe a clean dry pair of shoes for afterwards! Usually 6 miles.
These will be advertised on the forum and Facebook page so keep an eye out.
And when the nights draw in...don't forget your Hi-Viz top and headtorch!
